Aka the Mexican Liberty Caps or in the Mazatec language Little Birds. Found individually or in families in subtropical Mexico in meadows (manured grasslands) most common at 1000 - 1800 meters in elevation. Reported in Michocen, Morelos, Jalisco, Oaxaca, Puebla, western Xalapa, Veracruz and Guatemala.

Brownish to deep orangish brown often boast an umbo, tall, thin and have deeply transclucent-striate margins.

This species is predominately a dung dweller and have been found in Hawaii, Louisiana and Florida. They have also been reported from Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, the Philippines, eastern Australia and occasionally in the Mediterrainean. Obviously a global traveller with no doubt many stories to tell. Translucent when young then turning grey to white, a strong producer.

Originally growing in the cattle (brahmans) dung around the Angkor Wat Templeat Siem Reap, Cambodia, this strain is by far one of the most potent producing cubensis.

The Golden Teacher is perhaps the most robust strain of cubensis. Fruits do not form as abundantly as some other strains, however the size compensates in weight for the lack of numbers. Second and third flush fruits can become enormous.

The caps first appear a very dark red colour, often covered in very distinct spots. The stalk is lightly caramel coloured and very thick. It is reportedly one of darkest bruising cubensis available, often turning dark blue or even black when cropped, cut or bruised.

Coming to you all the way from the mountains of Equador. This mushroom had become very popular. It produces an abundance of nice big healthy mushrooms with a wonderful golden colour. This mushroom also tends to grow some rather thick stems and large caps.

This is a great strain for beginners because it's so stable and fruits very easily.

This new psilocybe cubensis strain was brought from Thailand. the cap of the mushroom has a mild pinkish hue. The stem is fragile and instantly turns deep blue when bruised.
