rare ethno-botanical cacti. These cacti are sourced from around
the globe and cultivated on behalf of The Pukka Seed Company.
These cacti are sold strictly as ornamental plants. We stock two
types of cacti, Peyote (Lophophora williamsii) and San Pedro (Trichocereus
pachanoi) cactus. All cacti are sized generously and are of stated
size or larger.
Indigenous
Indians regard peyote as sacred. Peyote is a very slow growing
cactus which can outlive a human. Peyote flowers sporadically,
all year 'round.
San
Pedro cactus is a relatively fast growing cactus. Again, regarded
by the Indigenous people of our planet as a sacred plant. These
can double in size every six months.
San
Pedro very, very rarely flowers. However, the San Pedro and
the Peyote can be grafted together to produce a hybrid which
flowers more often and grows quickly. (Hybrids available soon
